Sun and Shadow update

I met up with Paul from the Framesmith on Rt 1 today to discuss the cost of framing the 25 photos I dropped off last week for matting. I was going to order the frames from an online source that would have definitely kept the framing cost down for me, but after much consideration this past weekend I felt that it would be better for me to pay a little extra money and support a local business. Especially a business whose services I use several times a year.

He gave me a fantastic deal on the material he had in stock and a good deal on the material that he would have to order. Each photo will cost me a total of $110 including the cost of printing from Le Camera. Not to bad. Still alot of money to put out when I haven't worked in months. The future wind projects are looking a little shaky at the moment, no body knows what direction the business will go. Several job sites were shut down until further notice and many of my father's friends in the transportation field are unable to to hold out any longer for the wind projects to pick up.

I had some thoughts a few months ago about canceling the solo exhibit and save my money. It probably would have been the wiser more fiscally conservative move to take :P:P, but If I am serious about being an Artist then I need to take financial risks that come along with any business and hope for the best.
