Today I have entered the state of North Dakota for the first time ever!!
Its a golden state filled with duck ponds, cat tail grass and dead sunflowers. I spent two hours driving around taking photographs and exploring the countryside. I even picked a dead sunflower to bring seeds back to jersey to plant next summer.
The people are nice and there was a very swank restaurant in the town we stayed in. They kind enough to create a meal specially for me since EVERYTHING on the menu had some type of meat and cheese. Later I spent the evening talking to truckers and hunters outside the hotel.
Tomorrow will head back to Texas. My father and I will run two more of these trips before heading back to Jersey.
