Located off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood of Pittsfield, MA. It may take a little bit of exploring to find it and you may pass it at first because it doesn't exactly jump out to you, but it is so worth it!!!!!! I repeat, IT IS SOOOO SOOO WORTH IT!! :P
The Dancing Vegan is a vegan deli that also caters to those who are on a gluten free diet. There is NO indoor seating. Everything you order is take out. They always have two soups and a few hot food items to order from as well as several sandwiches and vegan desserts!!!
The people working behind the counter are extremely friendly and helpful! They have been in business since Jan of 09 and have become a favorite spot for the local veggie community and those in the mood for some new and different flavors!!
I ordered the red lentil veg soup, soba noodles with veggies (minus the tofu) and I couldn't resist these choc woopie cookes pie things with maple vanilla frosting... YUMMY!!!
Seriously you have to give this place a try!!! I can not rave enough about it!! You can smell the deliciousness from the outside!!
